My new gym bag should be here tomorrow. I can't wait for its arrival! I managed to stick with the gym last week, but haven't gone yet this week yet. I have been more active, walking more and doing some workout DVDs and weights at home though. I worry about the holidays coming up. Every year I say I am not going to over indulge and every year I do. Two weeks after Thanksgiving I'm traveling to Florida with a guy I've been seeing, so I definitely can't afford to pack on the pounds. It's just so hard to say no to my Aunt's famous pecan pie!

New Gym Bag!

Now that I'm getting back into the swing of things I thought I'd treat myself to a new gym bag! I've been on the hunt for one that's the perfect size (not too big) and that has a zipper pocket on the outside and I finally found it!

Gym Visit!

I made it to the gym last night! I got on the scale and actually weighed in way less than I thought which is good, but I'm wondering if the scale was calibrated properly. I'm going to try to find another scale and check before I get too excited. I certainly don't feel like I've lost weight and I can usually tell so we'll have to see. My workout was good, did the weights and 25 minutes of cardio. Normally I try to do 30-40, but I didn't want to overdo it. I'm hoping to work going to the gym into my routine again 2 days a week and then do walking and weights at home on the other days. I also need to work in drinking water more.

Hurrah for getting back on track!

Gym!

I'm getting back on track and getting to the gym tonight. Hopefully I'll be brave enough to get on the scale and see where I'm at.

So far this week I've done well with my eating. I do need to make a grocery store run and hopefully I can work in a trip to Whole Foods. I always eat quite well if I can make it there instead of my local store that carries mostly pre-made/packaged foods.

Wish me luck!!
